Born on March 6, 1992.

He has been interested in theater and cinema since he was young.

He graduated from the First English Language High School in 2011 and National Academy of Theater and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov” with a major in “Acting Mastery for Drama Theater” in the class of Prof. Ivan Dobchev in 2015.

After graduation, he played in various performances on the stages of the Drama Theater “N. O. Masalitinov” in the city of Plovdiv, the “Stefan Kirov” Drama Theater in the city of Sliven, the “Tear and Laughter” theater, the “Sfumato” Theater Workshop, and in 2015 he was in the troupe of the “Ivan Vazov” National Theater.

At the 2016 Golden Rose Bulgarian Feature Film Festival, Dimitar Nikolov received the award for best male role for the film “Christ” (dir. Grigor Lefterov and Todor Matsanov), shared with Ivan Nalbantov (“Godless”).
